The Temple

Last Wednesday we were able to go through the temple with Colton. It was a night of firsts...His first time through and our first time back since we had Beckham. It is always a little scary leaving your baby for the first time but we knew he was in good hands. He was also just across the street at the church which makes me feel much better than 45 minutes away which is how far the temple is.

Colton's friend Daniel went through a week before so he got to be there with the family. It was such a special experience and we are so happy that Colton let us be a part of that.

Happy Halloween and 3 Months!

The kids had halloween parties at school but first they had to walk around the circle and have a costume parade.

Taylor and Payton wanted to be Frankenstein and Frankensteins Bride. They came up with their costumes all by themselves...Pretty clever little 3rd graders!

Tate also came up with his own costume this year. He really wanted to be a ghost. Best costume I have ever had to buy...A $3 sheet from walmart and $1 worth of make-up!

Chase wanted to be Donald Duck again. He was Donald Duck last year and he loves the reaction he gets when he puts on what he calls his "Big Bum".

Beckham was a bumblebee. This outfit was so warm he just slept away while he was in it.

On another note...I can't believe that Beckham is 3 months! Here are a few of his big 3 month old pictures.

Webster and Family

On Monday our mama pig (the Riner's pig) had her babies. She had 11 total and the kids were SO excited when they got home to see all of the new arrivals. I can't say that I helped with their birth I was more of a moral support for Janae while she did it all. That was quite the experience to watch though. Clean them off, tie and cut imbilical cords, and snip off their milk teeth...WOW! So after they were all born I decided I would pick a pig since I knew the kids would all come and claim theirs. I loved this pink and brown one. It was the only one with brown so I knew I would forget which one was mine :) Well later Ashton came in and had claimed him also so we decided to share. His name is Webster. Taylor named her pig, Piggy Lue Lue. Tate named his Double D...when I asked him why it is becuase it has two black marks on his face that are shaped like D's. I am sure you all were wondering where the name came from. Chase named his pig flower...because it's so cute he says. The mama is still in her crate so the pigs have a hard time eating so I thought I would lift mine up to the top and help him out.

2 Months

Where has the time gone. I can't believe my baby is 2 months already! Beckham is such a good baby I couldn't ask for a better tempered child. He is a lot bigger than any of our kids have been. He is already in 3-6 month clothes and nothing is too big by any means. He is one chubba boy! He started sitting in his bumbo and he just loves to be able to look around and not be laying on the floor like normal.

ACE Awards

Today the kids elementary school handed out their first ACE awards. ACE stands for Academic, Caring, Effort. Every teacher nominates 1 student for each of those categories. Tate was awarded this morning for the First Grade academic award. We are so proud of Tate and his love for school and learning. For most of you that know Tate you know how much he enjoys to learn new things and this kid could never have enough homework. Way to go Tate!

My First Homecoming

Ok...Well she isn't my daughter but I just love all these neices and nephews we have up here like my own. Chelsea got asked to homecoming by a boy from church and they went last Saturday. It was so much fun to go and pick out her dress. I also had the perfect shoes for her so it was nice to know that these cute high school girls thought I was still "cool" enough to borrow my stuff :)

About an hour before homecoming Chelsea called and needed Janae and I to come over and help her get ready. She has WAY too much faith in me to think I could do her hair and makeup. Despite my hair and makeup disabilities she still looked gorgeous. Maybe I should become a beautician...haha
